DALLAS, TX -- June 9, 1997 -- Hipnotic Interactive announced today that is has changed the
name of its company to Ritual Entertainment. The announcement was made today by Harry
Miller, CEO of Ritual Entertainment.
Comprised of some of the industry's brightest and most creative individuals who have produced
serveral successful PC titles, Ritual Entertainment is committed to creating hyper-immersive
computer games. As Hipnotic Interactive, the company's first game -- developed in conjunction
with id Software -- was the Quake Mission Pack #1: Scourge of Armagon. Ritual Entertainment
is currently developing Sin, a first-person 3D action game utilizing id Software's Quake engine.
The game will be published by Activision, Inc.
