Hey guys...

We're going to be announcing who has been cast for the primary vocal roles in the game pretty soon, and I thought I'd pull an idea from the anime community and give you guys a chance to guess who has been cast for the voices of the five primary actors in "SiN: Episodes."

No prizes, just bragging rights if you get them all.

So, who do you think we cast for the following roles:

J.C.
Elexis
Jessica
Radek

OK, I know, I suck at putting names to characters, and I’m too knackered to have much imagination at the moment

Blade: Wesley Snipes (OK, its lame, but he is the only guy I could think of with a voice that could be used for Blade)
JC: Seth Green (He makes a good geek)
Elexis: Can’t think of anyone offhand, but some singer with a slightly gravelly and sultry voice
Jessica: Jessica Alba (I can see this character with the sarcastic attitude Alba has in Dark Angel)
Radek: Who?

Hmm, I think you may have cast at least one of the voice actors from Half-Life 2.

Perhaps Merle Dandridge (Alyx Vance) is filling one of the female roles.

I'd like to see Mike Shapiro (The G-Man and Barney Calhoun) be cast, but I doubt that will happen.

In the case of characters returning from Sin, my guess is, uh, their original actors. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

If you ever plan to do a port for Sin to source then keep them the same, plus us Hardcore sinners want the original voice actors!

If those voice actors lost their Sin voice or can't be located then do a voice casting audition for somone who can impersonate their voice.

For the New voices like Jessica Cannon, Radek. I would like Jessica to be sexy and smart and she has the female sense when Elexis is up to something dirty. Radek, I have no infomation about so No Clue. Also maybe from the casting of the new Characters post the top 3 that you guys like then have us Vote on it, That would be COOL! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I've based most of these people on not only the personality of the characters (shown on both the SiN 1 and SiN: The Movie sites), but also actors who have played similar roles and, therefore, would have qualities that make them more suited to those parts:

John R. Blade -- The Rock

I know, I know, this seems a little strange. In the preview done a few months ago by PC Gamer, it was hinted that in the storyline for SiNEpisodes, Blade has become a man consumed by revenge and has since developed an obssession to bring Elexis Sinclaire down, whatever the cost.

On the other hand, The Rock is chosen for these kinds of things because he plays strong roles with an commanding personality to match (like the character "Sarge" in the recent Doom movie, and John Blade does has a bit of a dark side to him; what with the murder of his mother and his uncle by persons unknown... perhaps even the same person (who we know to be Elexis).

JC -- Gordon Michael Woolvett

Gordon is best known for his part as the character, Harper, in Gene Rodenberry's Andromeda. Not only does JC share a similar and appearance and attitude of Harper, but there was nothing he couldn't do, no system he couldn't break into! In my opinion this makes Gordon fit the part like a glove.

Elexis Sinclair -- Kate Beckinsale
=============
She hasn't really ever played someone who is necessarily evil, but she has played someone both intelligent and dangerous in the movie, Underworld. What's more, in SinEpisodes it has been nearly 10 years; meaning she would look older as the other characters do.

Since we haven't seen a picture of the new Elexis, anything is possible.

Jessica Cannon -- Laura Bertram

Another actor famous from Gene Rodenberry's Andromeda, it's no secret that when Laura and Gordon get together on a show (as they have on others), they develop a very nice double-act that is hard to beat. She also sometimes plays characters that are quite serious but also have a certain "vulnerability" in them, which fits the original concept for Jessica.

I agree with most people on this. I've never heard the name mentioned in any of the previews or interviews, and last time I checked... this WAS NOT April and there wasn't a full moon, either /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

A little explanation about this character's backstory for SiNEpisodes would be helpful... or who he is in relation to other parts of the SiN franchise (in case he has been in the movie and his name is now different).

Radek is one of the villains in this episode. As the name might suggest, he's from Eastern Europe, so he's got an accent.

i know that Catherine Zeta-Jones couldn't be 'cause Michael Douglas his angry to have been left aside by Ritual and menaced to devorce from her if she will be hired.
i have to say- togeher with Riddled that Courtney Love's voice would be perfect in Elexis's shoes and since that, thanks to badman now i know somthing about Radek, i could complete my list:

Sin is Sin, no matter whether it's 1 or 2. And Sin needs its own voice actors, not some Hollywood stars! I highly expect Ritual to stick with what they did best, selecting some extremely fitting voices for Sin 1, and these must return for Sin 2! Any other voice for any Sin 1 character, and it will destroy the experience.

I agree, but good voice actor doe's it's job good too, it's pretty important part of the game.

I would love to do the voice of Elexis. Now wouldn't that be something. I would even come up with some new things to say. But Noone asked me. Who ever used the last time has a good voice. Now JC and Blade I would really have to hear some people speak to tell you. Blade should have more of a macho sound and JC should have kinda of a wimpy sound to him.
