I was actually wondering if SiNE was moddable. Good to know that it is!

For those that know me from my crusade for AO games, you'll know I'm doubtlessly looking for a topless and/or nudity mod for SiNE. Only for the parts that make sense, story wise, though. (Who knows, maybe it's built into the game?)

someone should make little mod that replaces the bikini elexis with the nude one. it makes sense for that scene. I cant figure out a way to view the model. The hl2 model viewer wont let me access it.

The nude model in the GCFs is not actually nude, it's Elexis in her bikini, although if you load it up into 3DS Max you should be able to reskin her and remove some of the extra polygons that are there for the bikini.

How're you guys opening up these files and editing them? I'm a newbie to modding of any sort. (Source SDK or something?)

I extract the textures from the materials GCF into my mod directory, using the same directory structure as the GCF files. Then I open those textures in Photoshop by using the VTF plugin available here: http://nemesis.thewavelength.net/index.php?p=39. Then I edit the textures to my liking and start up the model viewer and load the model whose texture I've modified.

After a few hours of tweaking tonight, I'm releasing my nude skin now. I have to release it as a mod as I couldn't get the textures to show up the way I wanted them to if I dumped the skin into my regular Sin folder. Some things are missing in the menu, but I don't think there's anything else missing. Tell me if you discover any bugs. Here's the link. I was going to update the mod by replacing Jessica's model with the naked Elexis, but when I had tried it, I noticed that she didn't have all her animations. I figured they can't be used for every character. Once I got to the car on the first level, the game crashed, because the Elexis model didn't have an animation for getting in the car. Guess I'll have to wait until the Source SDK fully supports Sin :P

Actually the model of Elexis has a website where you can Quite a few samples of her face and skintone. Hell, you could even nominate her for the offical nipples of Elixs. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

As the allmighty guys of Ritual pointed us in her direction, by making the costume for her E3 apearance, then I think it's only right to use her as the basis for the nude model.

Because the dream sequence makes sense for her to be naked, but the hologram I don't think she'd be naked wherever she sends it from (or when she recorded it).

Just installed the mod to see which parts are and aren't naked -- I know most of you want her to be naked at every opportunity, but I would like to make a request to limit it to the dream sequences. As I said aboe, it makes sense to be in that scene to me.

And I know this is unfinished, but the crack of her bum and the underside of her breasts are quite dark. Looks like bad plastic surgery scars on the breasts (probably is though /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif)...and like she should wipe her arse better. Only complaining because I don't know how to fiix it myself /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif.

It's really easy to switch back to the normal model when she's supposed to have it. Just delete or rename the models folder inside the mod folder.

I just checked the data files and I can see that the textures for holo-Elexis are the same as for the regular model. There's also "distort" textures for every ordinary texture, which is basically the same thing, only that they have some kind of noise filter applied to them. Won't be too hard to reproduce though /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

What I don't understand is that the nude skins for Elexis were created by someone just creating an alpha channel (correct me if I am wrong) which showed the featureless model underneath. If the model was originally naked to begin with before they modeled on clothes, wouldn't it be the same for Jessica?

Has anyone tried to just make an alpha channel for her skin not caring about the way the model looks like with the jacket and stuff? I'd imagine she is also a featureless naked model under that skin and if judging from the way Elexis was modelled/skinned it appears that the model would be the same as Elexis.

I don't know shit about modelling or skinning but from what i've seen posted here and elsewhere this is my assumption. Has anyone tried to create an alpha channel for Jessica's skin to see whats under her clothes?

I am half tempted to buy photoshop and learn this myself since no one seems to care for super hot jessica. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Seriously, there is no greater cause in this world than at this moment to make Jessica naked.

Jessica's model is just one big model without additional, unlike Elexis's naked model, which uses an additional texture for the bikini. If you try to undress Elexis's regular model, you'll only see her head, a part of her frontal torso, and her hands.

If one were to skin Jessica to create a nude skin, they'd have to remodel her to remove those bulges created by the clothes she's wearing (which is a part of her model), in addition to creating a completely new skin that shows off flesh (I guess you could use a part of her revealed stomach for reference /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif)

You need to read wng's post again as it appears you've not fully understood what he has said.

I'll explain using an analogy that isn't too far removed from the concept at hand...

A little girl's Barbie doll has different sets of clothes that can be taken off and swapped around. This is what the Elexis model is like, take the clothes off and she is naked.

The Jessica model is more like a Barbie doll where her clothes are part of the plastic body - there is no skin underneath.

As such, making a naked Jessica model is non-trivial and nowhere near as easy as it is to make Elexis naked.

My best guess is to use a real life example (HQ image) and implementing that into the texture. Or using the real life example as a guideline for remodelling the genitalia. Would it be possible to do a head and boot swap between the Elexis and Jessica bodies ? that might be quicker than making a new mesh. The current Elexis mesh is much nicer than the Alex mesh that would be another option.

The Elexis thing doesn't really violate it because 1. it isn't part of the game, you download seperately of your own free will, and 2. The standard characters without boobies showing don't have them underneath, no nipples see?

Also: I'd like to see a nude Jessica model.

I think that ritualistic has a nude but featureless model of jessica, it would be the most sensable way to make clothes for her, and allow them to change clothes in later episodes. It just isn't in this episode because jessica doesn't change here clothes. Maby if we all ask nicely someone will give it to us. It is worth a try.

The game is already M, so it doesn't matter. And there's no nipple in ritual's skin, so it doesn't matter even more... I mean less.. I mean .. uh

Oblivion was rated T but there was a texture you couldn't see anywhere in the game, that had a nipple and so it got recalled and rated M. Those ESRB guys are sick.

btw wng's mod is messed up, I get a lot more stuttering (nearly none in the normal game) and all the commands on the interactive computers have the wrong names. And all it's supposed to do is change the texture ?

I don't really understand why it's like that, since the only things I changed were those textures. Maybe some additional SiN files from the non-mod directory need to be included in the mod one?

Hi all, I did a bit of work on the dark bits on Elexis' backside, and gave her some slightly more realistic nipples - send me a mail if you want the mod and I'll send it to you. At least until I can set up a proper place for you to download it...

The Picture in the middle is an edited Clothed Elexis, you can tell by those manly square shoulders....
