View Full Version : Random Entities Dissapearing..

I compiled my map and, to my surprise, when i played it, most of my entities were missing. Entities like prop_door_rotating, some prop_statics, npcs, light_spots, point_spotlights and others just completely dissapear, althought they still have collisions and can still be usable.. I have no errors in my compile log OR in console.
It's really hard to kill mutants when they're completely invisible :/

Sometimes i've had this problem too. But mainly with Props and not NPC's.
Im not sure how to fix it but what i do is delete that entity and make a new one :\

Now that I remember, this happened with one of my prop_physics. The weird thing was that the prop_physics was some lab equipment that I had just copied from another entity and pasted. When I changed it to prop_physics_override it worked.
...but it shouldn't be like that.

I am pretty sure Boomstick has read that before, and it really doesn't address the issue of npc's or lights.
