Re: Deleted Scenes Mission Urban Ruins

O Yea..Urban Ruins is set in the Year 2005, and with ever increasing populations the possibility of encountering an extreme number of hostile terrorists just North of Kabul Afghanistan is highly probable.

Afghan interior minister reports crime rate up, corruption down

The interior minister has commented on the increase in the crime rate. Speaking at a news conference today, Interior Minister Ali Ahmad Jalali said 4,500 criminal incidents took place during the past six months all over Afghanistan. He said the most serious crimes were murders and robberies. He added that 700 cases of murder, 988 cases of robbery and 50 cases of armed robbery had been registered. Of these 25 incidents took place in Kabul.

Some 175 cases of kidnapping were registered all over Afghanistan, and 75 of them took place in Kabul.

Re: Deleted Scenes Mission Urban Ruins

Rambo aslo had cooler weapons including a maching bun/bazooka and an exploding bow and arrow. ANNDDD rambos enemies werent all given flashbangs and bad AI's (no offense Ritual or Mr. Map maker. i understand the AI situation)

Re: Deleted Scenes Mission Urban Ruins

I have to agree with Davido on that one! I don't why so many complains about Abalone's mission, 'cause it was great. As you must noticed there's not that many missions around, so why not create one instead of complaining...

Re: Deleted Scenes Mission Urban Ruins

I have not said that is bad. In fact i have said "IMHO there are too many enemies"

P.S. some other are making missions, but don't have always the time to progress...

Re: Deleted Scenes Mission Urban Ruins

I didn't want to offend anyone, with writing my post but i was just taking Abalone's part, that he has a nice mission and maybe on his next one, might think of having less enemies. Maybe more stuff to use ex: torch, radio, ect... Like at the end when reaching the hostages, he could have had a radio to call that the hostages were reached. Just stuff like that but personnaly I loved it!

Re: Deleted Scenes Mission Urban Ruins

I'm sorry that some people were overwhelmed by enemies in Urban Ruins. I have played through the mission at least 70-80 times on skill 3. Personally I don't think there is too many enemies. Its a combat mission from begining to end just like I intended. The large amount of enemies was no mistake. I spent many hours tweaking the way the combat would play out through the mission, and making sure there is enough ammo, health and grenades to balance the enemies. Not everyone makes missions with 2 bad guys per room and headache giving puzzles. If they did it would be boring. The bottom line is...This is not an easy mission...just like I intended. If you would like to try the easiest level type "skill 1" +enter then "map urban"+enter

Re: Deleted Scenes Mission Urban Ruins

Abalone: this is your mission. You have to do what you like. I'm sorry if i have offended you.
And i don't have said "What a shitty mission..."; because i have a great respect for you and for your work. Is just my opinion, i'd like more stealthly mission than this, but is my style of playng games.

P.S. If i might release my missions, you'll check "my type" of gameplay, and probably you tink that there are only few enemies.
