SiN Episodes: Emergence review for my website.

http://www.steamreviews.com/Games/Si...s:%20Emergence

This is for a website I recently started and plan to regularly update. The first reviews are sure to be slow-coming, but I expect as I catch up that I will review new games a week or two after they are released.

Criticism is greatly welcomed and desired!

Also, here is my newly designed SiN Episodes section for ertertwert.com.

Did you make the music video? Because whoevers playing in that is mowing down enemies like... I don't know! I can't really even compare to that!

I can't think of any major criticisms. I didn't find any broken links or anything. Maybe the way you have the general frame layout could use some touching up, but I'm at a loss as to how you'd go about that.

Yes, that was me in the video. I posted it here a few weeks ago. And I know the layout sucks, but this is my first attempt at making a site and I am using google and "view source" to figure it all out. While I appreciate feedback on the site layout, my main thing I am concerned about is the content of the reviews. ertertwert.com is just kinda for myself (I use it to post anything I need without using 3rd party sites) and I decided to actually make the site just for fun. Steam Reviews, however, I plan to actually maintain consitently, with the main focus on "reviews."

Also, if you like the music video I made, you should check out my cs highlights video. It's 30 minutes long. I made it a year or two ago.

The review is well done. I like that you highlighted key words throughout the review: it makes it look slick. Your tone is fine and the humor isn't overbearing. You covered pretty much all the interesting aspects of Emergence.
There wasn't much discussion about what is not good about Emergence besides the fact that blade doesn't talk much. You could have mentioned some bugs from before the patch or if there was anything in general that wasn't as good as it could have been. It's important to talk about negative things in a review so it doesn't look like you're ignoring other perspectives.
I have a formatting criticism even if you don't really care. It'll be better to split your review into a few pages instead of having one big scrolling page. I almost didn't want to read it because I thought it was going to be too long.

I think your choice in domain name is quite unfortunate, confusing it with http://steamreview.org

ertertwert, I can highly recommend WordPress if you are having trouble maintaining things. It automates a great deal of what you are trying to do, and does a bunch of other useful things. If you like, I can give you my WP theme (as the owner of steamreview.org) for you to start off with.

On the website, it says I only noticed steamreview.org AFTER I registered the domain.

Wow, I didn't think I'd see you responding about my site. But now that I have the chance, I just want to say that your site kicks serious ass. I'm almost ashamed to have the same in my domain now. Haha, but seriously, I'd gladly take a look at anything you want to show me, as I am still learning.

I enjoyed the content. I just wanted to point out the frame weirdness, that's all.

I will now find that CS video and be awed.
