You have to play with the compiler script tool. I got UberRad working fine for Quake3, including using q3map2 to compile, and Quake3 is 99% the same as EF1.

I hope you mean GDK, because GTK was specifically designed as a cross-platform GUI interface, and there are GTK-based programs for OSX, Windows, Linux, and other miscellaneous OS's.

you know, i've done some research, and it seems there are about 40 active ef clans. from looking at a few rosters, i think it's fair to say they average about 10 players per clan. that's about 400...
