Default Re: Using graphics tablets with Hammer

I have been using a Wacom tablet for Source engine displacement mapping since the HL2 SDK first came out.

My pointer is an Optical Trackball.

I keep my left hand on the keyboard.

Once I open the Face Edit tool I use the keyboard and the Trackball to select the displacement surfaces.

With them selected I begin to use the Wacom tablet Stylus.

To move around I use the Keyboard camera movement keys in Hammer.

I've got the Stylus setup so the down button is Plus and the Up button is Minus.

Very simple to jump to the Trackball while I'm keeping my left hand on the keyboard for movement.

Using that combination I've never seen anything odd and it works great for me.
