Default RELEASE DATE: MESS UP?

I was recently at a local EB store and I asked them the release date for condition zero for pc. They said it was October, and I told them that I was told it was May from ritual and this forum. He said it was just moved back he thinks.

WHAT'S WITH THIS? ALL THESE SITES SAY IT ISN'T BEING RELEASED IN MAY, BUT IN THE FALL? COULD THIS END UP GETTING ALL MESSED UP LIKE THE OLD CONDITION ZERO???

Condition Zero is still on track to be completed in May. There's a high possibility the Xbox port of Counter-Strike will ship in September or October.

Ritual says it will be released this May so don't listen to anyone else. But im curious as to when in May its hitting store shelves. May 1st and May 30th is a big difference

Here's a tip, never ever never never ever trust what a gaming store tells you. They are the 2nd to last people to get notified on when a game will ship. Customers are the last, but they can be bumped up to 3rd last by reading online interviews that ask the developers themselves.

Oh sure, we'll hold the release date back for you no problem. You are more important than millions of other drooling fans and publishers who write big fat checks. Bah, money is over rated.

New HLDS (non-beta) for Windows and Linux is due out tomorrow. This can only mean that a new client is on the way and one is supposed to be released shortly before Condition Zero hits shelves.
