Default XBox DM

We just did a XBox DM in CS:CZ with 7 people using the head set voice communicator.

DAAAAMMMMNNN, that was awesome.

and you are a coward since you couldn't even walk up to my desk and tell me that straight to my face.

now, if I knew who you were, I'd walk up to your desk and call you a coward.

You'll have to forgive BB, he's only been in-office a few days now, and it does take time to connect names with faces (often because we're too busy with our own faces stuck up against our monitors).

Only time will tell and it would be only my opinion, someone else could like the other version for different reasons.

It was a system link and there was a LOT of trash talking with the head set voice over IP. It was really awesome. The headset is really good too. You can wear it on either ear and the mic doesn't get in the way at all. It plugs into your controller so I never had a problem with the wires dangling on my arms, I hate that.

Game pads... MS will never ever make a keyboard/mouse functional for games.

You can hate MS all you want, but it doesn't change the fact that they are one of the best computer game Publishers in the world.

For some reason, I have a hard time really getting into a DM type match over a console. Not sure but the connection really doesn't seem to be there. However, I have enjoyed playing cooperative mission type games as well as sporting head to head types. Not sure why, but it just never caught on with me.

Good thing we are also making a SP component to Counter-Strike then!

Are you the same Lithium that did Half-Life map reviews? Do you know Kevin "Fragmaster" Bowen?

Fragmaster is a name from long ago, back in the days when I was jaunting with a lot of the PQ folks. I do know the name but it has been years (5-7 years now I think). As far as reviews, I've done a variety of things in the realm of gaming from creating maps, but always stuck with the joy of writing reviews and the likes - and I try to give my honest opinion.

Well nice to meet ya. Frag and I used to chat quite a bit back in the day. If you ever talk with him anymore, you let him know I am slowly creeping back into the "scene". And if you ever want to send me free stuff to review, you just let me know...I'm here. =)
