Default Muting players, Filtering bots, Wrong pings

I have all of these problems in the new CS 1.6 beta. Just until this latest update, I could mute players fine. See, I have voices turned off, but sometimes I still hear them. Until now, I could Show Scores, and click the person to mute them. How the heck do I do it now? No longer is there a little speaker symbol and clicking players doesn't mute them.

Also, curse on the g.d. bots they added. I don't want to play with any stinkin bots! If I do why would I go online? There needs to be a bot filter. It's annoying enough in CS 1.5 when people fake player counts, now they can do it here.

Finally, refreshing the server list gives me all wrong pings. Is there some networking option like in All-Seeing Eye where you can limit the pings sent per second? Thank you for your time.

Please direct your questions to Valve. They are making the CS 1.6 and all other versions of CS because they own that property. We have nothing to do with the code releases of multiplayer.

That's cool, but if anyone has any suggestions or if I'm missing an option please let me know.

1. hit escape, go to players menu, you can mute there.
2. the next update will have that feature, it's coming out soon
3. yeah it shows higher pings, just go to server info, refresh it 3-4 times, and you get the real ping to the server
+1 use steampowered.com's forum next time.

Am I the only one having problems with muting in the players list? Some players simply aren't shown on that list, and thus, I'm forced to listen to their squeeky little voices. Oh, and the general sound level drops too every time one of those little bastards spam the voice.

I like Valve, but making it harder, or even impossible, to mute immature players is the M/F Anti-Christ of gaming pleasure.

Grrrr.... I'm gonna go bitch @ Valve now

That sounds more like a bug in the StatsMe plugin, not the game itself.

hahaha I always love it how I go into servers with all these nubs constantly typing /rank and /top15, and they say their ranks, and then me, with (usually) a good score types the '/rank' command, and finds out that after 20 mins of playing, am owning them all. It's great!
