Default What is the default heapsize?

In Halflife 2 it is suggested to put a heapsize amount in the steam game launch properties, like say "-heapsize 512000".

Is it the same for Sin Emergence if you want more of the game allocated to memory for better performance?

Using the same engine, I would assume you would need to change it for SiN as well. I believe the default heap is 256MB.

The default heapsize depends on the amount of RAM you have. (At least, it's supposed to.) WIth 1.5 GB, SE1 tried to give me a 64 MB heap; I increased this to 256 MB (the default in all Valve Source games for me), which solved most of my performance issues. Generally there's no need. There is when the game is giving you the wrong size--and I'd say that in my case, the evidence shows that it was.
