Default Blade Dialog Voice Pack for Emergence

Just to follow the order of things and to put this mod where it belongs (in the editing forum), I'll repost the links to my voice pack here. See the original thread.

This voice pack "updates" Sin Episodes: Emergence with Blade dialog responses. If you feel that Blade is too silent in Emergence and you'd like him to talk more to Jessica and JC, this is the mod for you! Unlike djbell's and programmer2's voice pack, which adds Blade taunts to the game, my pack focuses on dialog only. It makes most of the chatter in Emergence more alive and characteristic as Blade responds to lots of radio messages and face-to-face talks, just like he did in Sin.

From the readme:

Quote:
When Sin Episodes: Emergence was released, many fans of the original Sin game dearly missed John Blade's dialog with his sidekick JC and other non-player characters. While Blade was talking all the time in Sin, he is almost completely silent in Emergence while JC and Jessica keep talking to him throughout the game. In the spirit of Sin, ritualistic.com forum members djbell and programmer2 sat down and started working on a small voice pack that incorporated some of Blade's one-liners from Sin in Emergence, so that at least some of Blade's humor would be back in the new game.
Inspired by that, I looked for a way to include not just random comments but working responses to existing dialog in the game. The idea was to pick out the most appropriate (and if possible, funniest) of Blade's comments from Sin, then add these comments as responses to the dialog that can be heard in Emergence, so that whenever Jessica or JC talk to Blade and it's appropriate, he will respond with an intelligent or funny answer, or in some cases Blade will say something first and then receive the dialog from the character who is talking to him. This would make all of Emergence's conversation sound much more natural and really bring some of the Blade character back that we all know from Sin.

...

After installation, whenever you play a chapter of Emergence, there will be responses and comments by Blade in many situations where Emergence features face-to-face or radio dialog. Some chapters will have more Blade talk in them because there is generally more dialog to begin with that could be extended, and some areas of the game will still be rather silent because nobody is talking to Blade anyway. Also, in some scenes there could be a lot of very fitting and funny responses by Blade, whereas other situations might not be as entertaining, but I tried to include as much Blade as possible in the whole game based on what voice clips I found in Sin (and Wages of Sin). It's simply impossible to find a fitting response for EVERY situation that Blade encounters in Emergence when all the source material to work with is from Sin!
Make sure you read the installation info and the part about missing responses, and why they are missing (technical issue).

Get the pack here (20 MB, RAR packed). The link might change later and this link might then be obsolete, but if that happens, I'll post the new link in an additional post.

Comments may go into the original thread, into this thread, or directly to my e-mail (see readme file). To get the most Sin-Blade-like experience with Emergence, download djbell's/programmer2's Blade taunting voice pack and play Emergence with both packs!

Enjoy!
