I dont know if its a steam problem but when I went to preorder Episode one I had no order details at the start of the transaction where it lists what you get, and at the end where you can double check all your detail.s

I had the same problem when I was pre-ording Half Life 2 Episode 1, nothing appeared in the list of what is in the package, so I cancel it, went back to the default steam skin and pre-purchase it again and the problem didn't come back, so it is only with the Jessica steam skin.

Yeah, I came here to post that too. But it really isn't a big deal - it's just that the skin covers up the text. I Just pressed "back" to check over the details instead of looking at the final page.

Same problem here, I just changed to default skin.

It's a problem with the actual Steam codebase, which only Valve can update. My guess is that the layer order for some of the windows is wrong and background effects are drawn on top of the text, instead of the other way around. :/

Thanks badman for explaining what the problem is, just hope that Valve fixes the problem.

Oh, most of us have already known this problem has existed. Like I said, it's no big deal - worst case scenario is that you have to switch to default when you buy. Or just don't worry about it like I did.
