Default Sin Performance issues

Is it me or is it when ritual released sin you needed a monster of a machine to play it. I mean when i was waiting for it to arrive i saw the requirements and screamed. i mean in 98 u needed a p200 to bring it up to playable and its minimum was a p166. That p166 was like midline back then 300 was top. Im sick of it. You buy a new PC to play good looking games which run like butter but when you buy it they are already thinking of games which will slow it down nd cause to upgrade every 2 weeks. when i got a new PC and ran sin at its best it rocked. But then before you know it unreal, delta force 2, Kingpin. So i update it again. Then SoF, Ut, and Q3. and again. Then FaKK2 ant elite force. WHo knows whats out next.

Actually I got my 400MHz machine back in Oct 98 (when Sin came out). AFAIK 450 was top then.

Yeah, I got my 333mhz in '98. Of course, the motherboard turned out to be a pile of steaming dog feces, but that's not the point...
Hmmm, I also didn't start playing SiN until late '99 either. Ah well!

The first time I played Sin was the demo on my P2 450 with 128MB ram. Unfortunatly I still use the same computer...
