And I thought the guys on the halflife2.net forums were going crazy making comics about how HL2 was a fraud waiting for the media release which has been pushed to Monday.

We did in the depths of darkness, just to keep you in the dark and behind us, so that our maps would come out first

i'm with the rest of you guys, i can't wait to try out the new tools but if they don't come soon then i guess i'll move on.it doesn't look like we'll be getting much support from ritual, unlike raven. with EF for instance i made my first map BEFORE the game was released. i was beta testing EFradiant when i made defiant and was even told by a raven scripter that if i had any probs with my maps to send them to him and he'd get raven's mappers to take a look for me. can't see anything like that from ritual. plenty of experienced mappers here offerring assistance and not a word from them.
