more EF2 crashes!
i have EF2 installed on my system. I have Vista, 2.66 Mhz CPU, 2 GB of RAM, and a Radeon eah 3850. I have all the settings the way they should be. The game runs fine until I get to the end of the mission where you have to find one of the sons of a miner and as soon as I talk to him, it crashes. I had flawless gameplay before that, no missed drawings, no other anomalies. At first I got to the mission completed screen showing the enterprise, then it would crash. Now when I talk to the son, I get about 3 sentences in before it crashes. I've made sure there are no conflicts, as I've had none before this part and no crashes. I've restarted my pc about 6 times now, after every crash, and it still isn't working. I've installed the patch, even tho when I start the game it still says 1.0. WTF?!?

Ya, try reinstalling, but de-install first.
Don't worry about the save game, it's easy to make you start at this mission again. |
