![]() Hi, I set my shader in game to stencile and now I got this really horrible shadow effect. Heres a pic and a specs of my computer.

![]() It's called self-shadowing, and it's a limitation of the Quake III technology for stencil shadows. Shadows from certain angles and certain distances will do that unfortunately.

![]() I have the same card (GF4 Ti4600) as you, so perhaps it is our card. I don't see why they'd put in the option of stencil shadows if it looked like that on all graphics cards.

![]() Just wondering, for EF1 does anyone know how to turn off shadows, considering there isn't an "advanced" graphics setting control area? Is there a console command? Thanks.
