![]() I have an 800mhz processor and a GeForce2 MX-440 and i get from 15-30FPS at medium detail...
If I got a GeForce4 Ti4200, would it boost performance much or am I limited by my crappy processor? |

![]() It may help, but you would still have a bottleneck caused by the processor.
Sorry to say that but if its any consolation I am also running it on a GeForce 2 MX 200 - now i'll just go back to saving for a 256MB graphics card |

![]() Here's my config:
GF Ti-4200 1800+ Athlon XP 768mb DDR-RAM 7200 RPM Maxtor HDD VIA KT266A Chipset mobo Sound Blaster Audigy Gamer Sound Blaster Inspire 6.1 Speakers I run the demo @ 1280x1024 with most settings maxed, trilinear on, etc. at an average of 40fps, as low as 30 outside in the rain. I can't hear anything from the rear channels... Is that OK? I have it on EAX-3 mode with 44000khz sound. ________ Jannni cam Last edited by Phil : 08-22-2011 at 09:54 AM. |
