![]() You can replace skins in single player the same way you'd replace them in multiplayer...by placing them in the proper directory under SteamApps\[username]\sin 1. However, because we have SP and MP seperated, you'd have to make the change in both locations if you wanted to change a skin globally.

![]() Lol, really? I never tried to use skins on SP, cause there is no point to do it, except for screenshots or demo, since to see your own skin you should play it at 3rd person mode, challenging way to play though

![]() Somehow, even when I place the skins in the correct directory and all, it has no effect in the game. For example, I took the base skin of Elexis (base/models/pl_Elexis/elexis_base.tga from the GCF), made a folder structure to place the skin in (in this case, SteamApps/[my account name]/sin 1/base/models/Mancini/) and renamed the Elexis skin into mancini_base.tga (which is the same file name as Mancini's only skin). I booted the game up and started a new game, observing the cutscenes and appearances of Mancini on the first level. I did not see a new skin on him. Am I doing something wrong?
EDIT: Thanks for helping me, by the way |

![]() People, these are DEATHMATCH SKINS ONLY !!!!
they only work in DEATHMATCH, so make sure you use the correct SIN directory, why oh why did Ritual make two directories for SIN, it was not this way , on the original release! This is making it confusing for new people. -BB |

![]() You will need to put them in one of three directories (depending on whether the skin in question is for Blade, Elexis, or JC):
\Steam\SteamApps\yourSteamName\sin 1\base\models\pl_blade \Steam\SteamApps\yourSteamName\sin 1\base\models\pl_elexis \Steam\SteamApps\yourSteamName\sin 1\base\models\pl_jc That should make them show up in the multiplayer setup menu. Please note that as these skins are for deathmatch only and because as far as I know deathmatch pulls its data from \sin 1\, to put them under \sin 1\ and not \sin 1 multiplayer\. I haven't tested this myself, so I can't say for sure. |

![]() Well Since Comcast is getting rid of personal web space, I downloaded and saved all the skins and website. Please let me know if you need the skin files.
