The tip for Audigy cards doesn't work for me, nor does setting acceleration down. It randomly just doesn't play sounds, usually pickup sounds, so I can never tell when I pick things up. Music now seems to work, however.

hi i have the probleme existing in FAQ sin steam [img]/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]

2.1 I have the French version of SiN and progress past the Chemical Plant level without the game crashing

but i c ant download the file associate to the reply , i have a message : file not found

hi , thk , so it's ok for the 2 files , but it is not resolved , i've create the folder , in the steam sin folder : valve test app 1313/base/ locale /fr /dialog ==> and insert the 2 files but i have always the error in line 296 , and crash games...

Sin actually appeared as two oddly named folders in my directory, i took the steps mentioned on the FAQ and am now left with 3 folders: Sin1, Sin1 Multiplayer and valve test app 1313... am i ok to just delete the last folder? i assume its just the same as Sin1 Multi.

Lord Rick, if I was you, I would copy the valve test app 1313 folder to another folder like My Documents and delete the valve test app 1313 folder from the Steam directory that contains the Sin1 and Sin1 Multiplayer and see if the single player and the multiplayer still work.

I had the same problem with the folders, after I followed the steps that badman listed in his post, I was left with a valve test folder, so I deleted that folder and no problems occurred.

No amount of Drivers solved my issue, this did. I actually made into an autoexec.cfg.

When I set the game's resolution to a value equal to my monitor's current resolution the game goes into Window Mode, even with Full Screen on. Gonna fix this? Minor problem, but I'd still like it fixed. Blame OCD.

If the resolution in question is 1280x1024, then the issue is addressed at http://www.ritualistic.com/games.php...am_faq.php#110

As far as I know, a fix for this is still planned. Lately the SiN Episodes updates have been taking a higher priority, so the SiN 1 update was pushed back a little.
