Thanks everyone for such a positive response. I haven't been reading the boards for a couple days, and was very surprised ( and happy ) to see this!

Small update... we're waiting on a couple more things from 3DNow, and we'll be releasing 1.05 which fixes demos, and I'll be fixing the Quantum overload which nobody seems to like.

If you have a compelling reason to keep the Quantum overload in there, send email to sinctf@ritual.com

Reaper, you're on. And just send the Top Ramen. ; )

What servers are you guys all on? Or better yet, what are your ICQ #s? I look forward to playing with/against you all. I've only played against Smack2 once on a server, and he was nothing but a classy player. I run into Tiberius from time to time on Cyberfun...

I truly don't mind getting fragged because I learn from it, like, strafing when you hear the zoom of the scope.

As someone mentioned before, the gaming community is unique w/ SiN. I've only run up against one annoying/arrogant person when I played, and the majority of the players have been classy, whether if it's in the game or on the bulletin board...

I don't know my ICQ # off hand, so if you wish, you can e-mail me at jckwong@earthlink.net.

the return of the almighty danzig was, and is innevitable.....of course i love this game more than any other, i dont play any other because i stay faithful....plain and simple.i despise all those who call themselves SINers, and then decide its ****ing boring, for example.... foo, ha what a joke that guy was, or manumit999, what a couple of losers! yeah half life!(sarcasm). SIN is the best game on the planet, and ALL those true and UNtrue to the game will return when SIN 2 comes out....just because like the first, it'll blow all other games away!!! the unholy trinity forever!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the compliment, Jay, same to you . I'm gonna start a separate thread for everybody to vote against the QD overload. Let's make sure that that option is not there anymore (I'm a HPW and I sure hate it when I nuke myself ).

Sin is easily the best and most fun game I have ever played. It has a great story, and the game play is awesome. The weapons are imaginative but not "make believe" (Okay some are....) But really it all goes together very well. The multiplayer seems oh so smooth compared to HL. The levels are fantastic, and gameplay is fast and furious. Even with higher pings, you can still play Sin without too much lag.

I think thats pretty cool that the designers actually listen to what we have to say about the game and actually do something to change it i.e. the QD overloading. Alot of respect goes out to Ritual for designing the greatest game Ive ever played and for listening to its customers bitches and moans and trying to fix em( now if only we could get more servers). Hehe, I know its not their job but since they are listening I guess there is some advantage to having a small community. Good job Ritual and thanks for listening.

I love SiN because it allows me to sleep in class, refuse to go on dates, not worry about my hygiene, never get a tan, never getting soliciting phone calls, and it gives me an excuse to buy expensive equipment at other people's expense!

SiN is definately not dead, just dormant until something big happens.

I love SiN. It's way different than all these other games like Tribes or Half-Life. Mainly because it's damn fun. It has a nice soundtrack, nice movement, cool weapons, and all the other stuff that you can't really find in any other game.

Whew, took me a long time to type this. I shouldn't have been gone that long.

Umm, if the Ritual guys have some time to spare, could they do some optimizations and enhancements to SinEd so we might have a better time building levels for SiN (ie. not having to require a PPro to use it). That'd increase the game's longevity. Duke's BUILD editor was great on any system but then again that was Duke.

SiN DM is a wonderful game for HPBs. It's not a largely competition based game.. it's more for having fun and enjoying the maps, weapons and characters. I love it how despite ping, any player can be competitive in DM. However, sinctf just utterly fails in those respects. The one-shot one-kill sniper rifle really ruined it for hpbs, and the thralls were definately very lame.

SiN dm and WoS will forever be some of the most entertaining games.

While I don't really care about the sniper rifle, I definitely agree on the thrallball issue. It's gotten *much* worse nowadays. It reminds me much of IIs and infinite ammo isn't even turned on on the active servers.

SiN rules all.
It's the first FPS I played properly since Doom and I love it.
The engine looks great and plays real fast and the action is constantly non-stop.
The sense of humour isn't as great as games like Duke Nukem but it's a classic none-the-less.
Okay it's got it's minor flaws but it has a great development team who have always given the fans what they want when they wanted it.
To those people:- Levelord, Mark D, General Wart. I say thank you.

Sorry I guess I forgot a few, those are the only ones I can remember from the top of my head.
I have just remembered Zor but I can't remember anyone else.
I still thank them for all their hard work and dedication and all I have left to say is......

Roll on SiN2
(If it is planned to happen.)
