Default EF2 Multiplayer Modes

I'm wondering about the multiplayer modes that will be available in EF2...the PCG article said they will include the specialties etc. modes from the expansion pack, which is great, but will there be any changes?

Add my vote for co-op play!

There are also mentions on the board of a revamped assimilation mode...

How about specialties itself? I suppose it was the most successful of the modes (unlike action hero and assimilation, which I rarely see on the servers), but specialties does seem incredibly biased towards the heavy weapons (I myself get quite annoyed when everyone becomes Biessman, I even coined BORING-Biessman Only Really Is Not Good)...does everyone think specialties is perfect? How about other modes of multiplayer?

o yes this thread reminds me

Yesterday In a speshalties server evryone decided to all be medics and It was a great game now could it be posable for a person in advanced setings mode to pick what type of players a person could be? just have a list of all the speshalties players and have them put checkmarks by the ones thay want!

this could be rilly usesful in assimaltion to because then you could have speshalties assimaltion and take out the deat pack guy.

Another question, will EF1 custom maps work in EF2...?

From what I have read, no they won't be able to work with EF II.

we need spies in SPECIALTIES or holograms that disguise themselves. I cant think of any other classes though, but we need more, any ideas

Yeah how about unlimited amount of maps one can see and play without having to move them out of Baseef.

Hi there. I have some suggestions for some MODS for EF2. How would that be if they develope EF Teamfortress for example ??. Because in my humble oppinion, the expansion pack for EF1 didnt brought that new flesh as we all (the ef clans) hoped it will do. So maybe the developers of EF2 could think of more mods or more popular ones.

In Unreal Tournament for example are (Teamfortress, Assault, TDM, DM and i think some more). Or look @ q3, all these modīs (ra3/cpma,ctf,tdm,dm). Now that would be fun a ra3 mod for ef2. DAMN I WOULD LOVE TO PLAY IT !!!!. Hope that EF2 is getting "more" popular than EF1 because this game definately deservse it.

According to Ritual, EF2 will have everything EF and the XP had, plus more. So that sounds good.

My little wish was it too bring our PadMod too EF1 (not only too Q3), but now we think it was better too bring them too EF2... [img]images/icons/wink.gif[/img]

Hope we can do this and hope this is not too much work for our coders... [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img]
