I am hoping that they will be large and not cramped and comfined as some of the Ef1 maps were like

The one that was shown at E3 was set aboard the USS Enterprise-E. As for the rest, I'm sure there will be a broad variety of settings and environments, though it will probably be some time before we actually see screenshots or specific information.

I think the maps will be various sizes, with some starfleet mp wall skis and some borg ones and some romuland and "creepy alien" ones. i think it might all be in 3d too.

i hope they do what the xpansion pack did for EF, but all together in EF2...

some of the maps on the expansion pack are truly amazing, ctf_singularity, omg!? brilliant map if only it had been released earlier...
ctf_reservoir, ctf_oldwest, ctf_for1 etc... they were all good

what ritual should do, is make both star trek maps, and kinda fps hardcore ones/cool doomy looking maps, ie, singularity.. and E-E maps...

this way eveyrones happy, and they will all get played a lot......

Am I the only one here that thinks the expansion maps were crap? We played them once or twice but then got bored of them and went back to playing voy2 again. Sure some of them looked very nice, but as far as gameplay goes they were horrible. The quality of maps in EF compared to Q3 expansion is disapointing. But we cant just convert Q3 maps to EF because they were specifically made for 320 speed and different weapons, which makes the maps bigger. What makes a good ctf map is multiple exit/entry points for the player to infiltrate and exit with the flag. I honestly believe voy2 is the best map ever created because of the many ways you can attack the flag and get away. So lets hope the maps will be much better thought out this time.
