Default Ritualistic Is Five

We passed a major milestone recently <strike style="font-size: 8pt;">by a week or two, doh</strike>, in January 1998 Ritualistic began reporting news on a certain SiNful game in development by Ritual, and we've continued bringing you the quality Ritual news for <span style="font-weight: bold; color: #FFFFFF;">five years</span> now! Patches have come (SiN 1.11 anyone? *sigh*), games have gone (LOTR?), people have changed (sTeve Gibson, now of Shacknews?), engines have upgraded (Quake1 Mission Pack to Quake3+ Elite Force 2?), but the Levelord remains the same (and don't forget Tom and Rob)! Congrats to Ritual for keeping us in the news with quality games to report on, and thanks to all of the Ritualistic crew for our hard work and patience *cough*

Oh, and on a side note, Levelord's side-project at SMU, the Guildhall, has some more info posted about the three certificates you can earn in Level Design, Art, and Programming for the game industry. Apparently they are eighteen months long and encompass about six major projects, all with milestones, deadlines, and probably lots of caffeine, pizza and headaches, just like real development! So if you're interested in getting into the game industry (and who isn't, besides people who value their free time??) check these programs out.
