Default Pushed back again..

i just went to the Sierra site (distributor)
i looked on the release date part and it said fall 2003

i guess this is true since no one has said it would come out this summer for sure

That's ridicolous, it's not coming out in the fall. I trust what ritual says over sierra's website-- i'm positive the game will be going gold soon, they're just being held up with last minute bugs.

you can beleive what you want, but SIERRA distributes it, so THAT means SIERRA determines WHEN the game hits store shelves, not ritual

I I think Sierra knows very well that a fall release would be suicide for CZ. There is no way it can compete with blockbuster titles such as Halo PC and Half-Life 2. The only chance Sierra and Ritual have of making money off of CZ is a summer release.

Keep in mind that more people play counter-strike then any other action (and perhaps otherwise) game on the planet (this includes halo). Half-life 2 will most definitely surpass cz, you got that much right, good job. But as for valve's release dates, valve releases when they want to, same with ritual. The only thing I've learned in this forum is, that whatever we say will have no, NO, effect on the release date of the game, the game will be ot before fall though, I am confident in that.

I'll still get it, even if it is that late... Granted it'll be a while before I finish it if it does come out around then due to HL2

It'll probably be a while after, though.

In the last info I saw, TF2 was taking a more realistic approach. But that was like 4 years ago, a lot could have changed since then.

I hope tf2 is nothing like tfc (becasue tfc is pretty bad). If it is nothing like it's predecessor, I can see myfself buying it.
