Default What are the cheats?

I can't find any cheats yet for EF2. The only one I can get to work are, "God" and "Give all" and "health 999". What others are there? I can't find any sites that have any listed yet? I want the ones that give ammo and armor.

Anyone found the correct weapon names to use with the "Give <Weapon>" cheat? I really hate that they don't let you use the standard compression rifle once you get off Voyager. And I like the Romulan Disruptor rifle much better than the weakened Phaser pistol.

Heh, on a side note. I've been checking other websites/forums to see if anyone has the answer to this cheat question yet. Its rather discouraging.

The question seems popular enough, but it makes me wonder if people really read the entire question posted before answering.

An example:

Typical question: Anyone know the weapon names to use with "Give <weapon>"?

Typical answers: Use "Give all"

Then the original poster reposts: Um...I want to spawn individual weapons, not all of them.

Typical answers: Use Give All.

Its enough to give one a headache

On another note, I've been fiddling ingame a bit and it may actually be GiveWeapon <something> as opposed to Give <weapon>. I still haven't figured it out yet, but if you type GiveWeapon by itself it gives you a range error or something, like you need to give it another path or somesuch.

* Correctly loading the Information Gathering Mission levels from the console ;

" The IGM levels are somewhat special, in that the same physical level is used multiple times for multiple different scenarios. To run the special setup required for these levels, load the map "ent-deck", and shoot your phaser at the number of the mission that you want to go to (1-8). This will carry out the setup necessary to make a particular IGM work.

- BirdDawg, Ritual Entertainment Level Designer "

* No intro movies ;

Make an autoexec.cfg file. Use Writepad or Microsoft Word (do not use Notepad!) to make a new file and add the line ;

seta introCommand "pushmenu main"

After saving (name it "autoexec" ofcourse) change the .wri or .doc extension to .cfg
Ignore any warning from Windows about changing the file extension.
Put the file in your base/global folder.

The lack of a cheat for extra ammo is a pain. Although you try and play all games without cheats, you can get a bit gung-ho and end up running out of ammo.

I know you can always use your phaser, but its not the same.

Give Health xxx is excellent - really handy.

My favorite cheat in EF1 was the G_gravity xxx

Is there any equivalent for EF2 yet?

Oh btw, I figured out a way to give yourself whatever weapon you want during a level.

I've given up trying to figureout Give/Giveweapon. What works is using the Spawn command.

Just:

Spawn models/weapons/worldmodel-(name of world model, like burstrifle.tik, or Imod.tik, etc etc) then a 1. I believe. So its like:

Spawn models/weapons/worldmodel-burstrifle.tik 1

It should pop the model up in front of you, you just walk over, pick it up and start blazing.

Be advised though, once you pick up a weapon via the spawncommand, it'll stay with you through the next missions, so you can end up with intermission segments that are supposed to only give you the tricorder, and you'll have whatever extra weapons you had previously spawned.

Only way I've seen to clear it, is to maplist/devmap back to the map you want to start on. It'll clear your inventory to whatever the base equipment for that level is.

Woops Or that. Heh, naturally I can't do anything the no-hassle way :P Though if you reload an old save before you cheated with a worldspawned weapon pickup, you'll have to go through that whole mission all over again.
