Default Mouse Spin-Out Problem

I hope this is the right place for this...

Anywho, while playing MultiPlayer EF2, I've got this odd little problem. When I go to turn to fight back at someone shooting at me from behind, 8 out of 10 times, when I spin around, I spin OUT -- and end up looking straight up or straight down, and find myself disoriented and unable to fight back. It's causing me a MAJOR problem as most of the time if attacked from behind I'm dead thanks to this spin-out problem. What should I do? Does that mouse sensitivity invert thing have something to do with this? It's only when I spin around...

HELP!

Try toggling the Smooth Mouse option under Game Options.

When i used to have an old optical mouse, when i spin around really fast the mouse couldn't handle it and chucked a spastic..... Do you have a prehistoric optical mouse?

Hmm... have you tried lowering mouse sensitivity and/or mouse acceleration?

Thanks, Onion. I took about ten mins in a solo match I set up and got it *just* right. Now I can spin on a dime without going a full dollar!

PS: Yeah, I've got an Optical Mouse -- best damn mouse in history. The Ball Mouse's always distorted because I use them so much. The sensors couldn't handle it. These Opticals? Ohh, they are a beaut.
