Default Existing tutorials?

Are there any existing tutorials which might give a beginner a head start when it comes to things like character movement (predesigned and new), facial animation (expressions) etc?

I think they'll be included with the GDK, however you can play with the facial 'morphing' units using the ingame menu - I'm really sorry, but I've forgotten the name of that menu.

I think there is a "listmenus" command.

But no tutorials - ones that were written for other games which use ritual's tools but would likely be applicable here in relation to npc movement and animations etc?

Actually, as far as I'm aware. There are quite a few that introduce you to Ritual's tools. Although, they are older versions and for older games, but though indeed give beginners the hand up before release of the EFII GDK.

I believe FAKK2 tutorials may you some help in relation to for instance, scripting, where tutorials will show you how camera's are placed and scenes are set. As far as I know, it should be reletively similiar.

I'd need someone to confirm that though...

The fakk2 tutorials really suck though. I don't want people looking at those...

When the tools are released, if people need help I'll "port" my old tutorials to EF2.

That would be awesome!

Anything like that is helpful to the community as a whole no matter how many people actually ask for it specifically.

Excuses. Excuses.
You work in the games industry and still believe you have the time and want to sleep, let alone the need.

I always hoped working in video games you'd have some sort of energy plug you could just put in you so you could work 25 hours a day. Though it doesn't seem to be that way at Ritual, all we ever hear about are levelord's proding people, a sheep and some god damn level designer who spends too much time switching the computer thingy's on in the morning!!
