Default Dallas 1b (again!!)

Okay, I have done a search through the forums and found only one thread about this (despite in that thread the person saying do a search for it as it has been mentioned before!). I am really stuck on the engineers panel, trouble is, I'm, not sure if it is a glitch or what as my saved games seem to have some glitches when running (no it isn't a warez copy or using a nocd ) which lets me play but if I am waiting for someone to open a door say, the game just halts there, I can run around etc but until that person opens the door then I can't do anything and they don't open the door....Anyway, getting sidetracked here. How do I conquer that bloody panel? I have hooked up the pipes but nothing happens, I have got them to change yello and also to change to blue, but nothing happens. Is it a glitch? Can someone please explain to me how to do it? I got the gold ship thing by the way...Just stuck on this panel.
Thanks.

yeah, it could be a corrupted save.. it's happened before.. I had this happen when I was on teh bridge and had to go to the shuttle bay to meet Chell... when I got on the turbolifts neither would work.. I loaded a previous save and went from there and it worked..

try loading the previous save and going from there..

No, just reloaded a save game, went through level a to get to b and same problem, just doesn't seem to work at all.....Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Can someone describe what I should do on that panel please? I do it so it either turns blue or yellow but nothing happens.....

there ya go..

you need to do two things..

1. turn some parts so that centre ground is not part of the circuit

2. turn parts so the blue and yellow circuits do not connect

3. turn parts so blue goes straight across; same with yellow

hope that makes sense....
