Default Making fish move in water in radiant

hi, i noticed the tutorial on making water, and i was just wandering how on the starfleet maps the fish in the water moved??

I tried this on my map using one of the fish model's and making it target a splinepath i think it was, but it didnt work.

Anyone know how?

You can make the fish move by scripting.
Bind the fish to a origin brush (should be in the center of the pool) and script the origin to rotate. If you did it right, the fish should rotate around the middle of the pool
It wont work if scripting scares the </font><span style='color:#9FB3C5;background:#9FB3C5'>!@#$%^</span><font class="post"> out of you

making the fish swim is similar to the shuttle example file I have. It's a model that follows a splinepath.

He's right, ya know. Scripting in EF2 really isn't all that hard. With some very basic programming knowledge (basic meaning you understand how to structure commands and functions), some patience, and determination, you can start doing amazing things. The scripting language is where are the *real* power is hiding. Take the plunge, you'll wish you had sooner.

I it's really that intimidting, start small. a basic script object that acts like a door takes a handful of lines and only a few commands. Before long you'll be writing 100+ lines of script to make buildings come tumbling down ( I like blowing $hit up - it's loads of fun).

One thing you have to remember with the fish ... you need to set their "idle" animation or else your fish swim without moving their little tails.
