Well, we know that you made some levels... notably Corruption :-) Now then, that leaves "Kiltron"... there are others of course, but I'm not sure who made them... like Vostock, Truth etc...

Then there are the "one's that got away part two.." like Destown and Penal...

Anyone got a list of proposed maps and even finished ones that never made it out and who made them etc?

..and maybe some link to where they might be found (PM!!!)

Cheers for now

imagine if valve had used the whole three years they had to develop CZ like this:

Tell Ritual to develop the Deleted Scenes to be as good as they can be (and get rid of crappy first mission hehe).

Tell Turtle Rock to make those bots the best AI ever - 3 years would be enough right?

this equals a brilliant single player game
I like the way this guy thinks

Just curious, since I see that my name popped up in this thread. What do you consider the worlds shadiest level designer? And what sparks the question? Also, and if it helps any, most of the levels in CZ no one author can claim as their own. Most of the levels were touched by various designers and all finished to a working state by Ritual level designers. As for anything that was touched after it left our hands, then you'll have to dig deeper in the pile.

30 us for a game like cz? they have to be ****ign kidding me, I will not support such a horrible price, $10 for existing cs players and $20 for others would be a good deal AND they would prob sell and make more money. supply demand people, read the ****ign x-graphs

not that anyone from ritual could every reply to this post.

but the rest of the community can speculate about it all they want =D.

i wonder how many people at ritual are giggling like school girls considering valve aparently said their work is "not good enough" and now that its released, its all anybody wants or talks about. you should see all the "how do i put the ritual models into multiplayer" threads there are at the steam forums. its all anyone says is "worth the 30 bucks"

hehe again, good job to all those that were involved from ritual. congrats =D

Heh I'm really enjoying CZ, although I would have paid more than the 20 I did for it, seems like the US price was a little steep.

The Deleted Scenes are awesome, they are able to keep the feel of CS, as well as making them playable in that set up. If the AI in those had been improved, and Ritual's models and textures set up for use in multiplayer, I think the game would be worth counting as a 'sequel' for a full price.

I really like the Deletd Scenes. Great the mission "Thin Ice" and the one in the skycraper. Those are two settings that i have been tried to do with my maps (but never done good).
Great Ritual!

Rituals work with the new mdl's was amazing, beyond what I expected, you guys deserve huge credit for it. The single player game was way too linear and bland for me though

Been playing through some of it when I can be bothered, were it not for the Ritual scenes, it may as well have been CS : New Content Zero.
I still rate it pretty low on the radar but the story-like aspects of the deleted scenes should have been the way to go because as far as I'm concerned its essentially exactly the same thing you could download for free years ago.

How many of the original SP levels are now left in "Deleted Scenes"? All of them or just the best?

Ritual's CZ originally included 19 missions, 10(?) of which are contained in the "Deleted Scenes". More information on the pre-Turtle Rock version of the game is available at http://www.ritual.com/cz.
