Default Scripting Help

Hey guys, as usual scripting is jerking me around, any help is appreciated.

- - - - - - - -

Ok, basically the bit highlighted in red is not working, and I haven't the foggiest why. I'm hoping someone will spot an error in my scripting that I can't.

This is just a script to play a console noise, play a warning noise, make an elevator start moving, and shortly after move a pair of 'safety' doors into their relevant position.

Quote:
void main();
void init();
void elevator_main();

float elevator_status=0;

void main()
{
thread init();
}

void init()
{
<font color="red">TriggerEntity($elevator_doors);</font>
}

void elevator_main()
{ //Open the elevator thread
if (elevator_status == 0)
{
TriggerEntity($elevator_console);
wait(1);
TriggerEntity($elevator_warning);
wait(1);
TriggerEntity($main_lift);
wait(3);
TriggerEntity($elevator_doors);
elevator_status=1;
}
else
{
TriggerEntity($elevator_console);
wait(1);
TriggerEntity($elevator_warning);
wait(1);
TriggerEntity($main_lift);
wait(2);
TriggerEntity($elevator_doors);
elevator_status=0;
}
}

Default Re: Scripting Help

What is $elevator_doors? Is it a func_door? What do you want the $elevator_doors to
do?

If $elevator_doors is a func_door use following to

//--- open the door
$elevator_doors.open( $elevator_doors );

//--- close the door
$elevator_doors.close();

//--- lock the door
$elevator_doors.lock();
