The game comes with two manuals, Blade's Journal (explaining some of the backstory and recent happenings in Freeport), as well as the actual manual. Both manual files are are located in the game directory.

Yeah, they're in a horrible MHTML file system though. wtf is wrong with pdf?

Still, Blade's journal has always been pretty cool.

Is it perfectly normal that the manual is not listed and cannot be accessed from the properties window of Sin in Steam.

The main issue with the "Sin 1" manual is that we actually have two. We have the actual manual, and we also have "Blade's Journal," which is the backstory document that shipped with the original game.

Unfortunately, Steam only has a location for one. I'll work on getting at least the full manual accessible via right click once the current set of issues is resolved.

If they're merely html files, you can create a third html file that links to both the manual and Blade's journal. And then have that third file be the one located in Steam .
