Default SiN Episodes: Emergence Delayed in Germany

The SiN Episodes: Emergence product page on Steam Powered now has word that the release of the game in Germany is pending until the German ratings board USK assigns the game a rating. There is no word on how long the anticipated delay is, but it seems zee Germans will have to wait a little bit longer to get their SiN on. Furthermore, the page notes that SiN 1 is not included with SiN Episodes: Emergence in Germany.

Millions of dollars were spent in development in a supposed "international" on-line delivery system and yet it's useless because it lacks a rating . . . _O- _O- _O-

Wow, you do know this only applies to Germany because they have very strict laws. Good try to bash steam (yet again) though - oh wait.

Since Germany decided to delay the game. It has nothign to do with Steam. They want to rate the game (They ban violent games).

we have one of the strictest youth protection laws in the world, still our yout sucks in school and in social competence. one should think, that someone here might realize, that video game violence has nothing to do with real world violence or with stupid kids, but politicians here are immune to serious argumentation.

you know what answer you get, when you tell them "we have the strictest laws, still our kids suck"? "perhaps they're not strict enough"

also who is responsible, if a kid buys an 18+ game? you would say "the parents, who don't look after it" or "the shop, because he is not allowed to sell it". politicians answer: "the makers of the game." wtf?

last "funny" thing: 18+ games get censored because of youth protection. why do you have to censor a game for someone, who isn't allowed to get it? youth protection doesn't apply tho adults. it's like selling adults only alcohol free beer, because kids aren't allowed to get alcohol.

our laws suck, so do the politicians. they should better deal with the more serious problems our country has...

It wont come out like it was supposed to be, it will be cut to all German Countrys inc. Austria and Switzerland.
Dear Ritualists, i am angry right now so excuse my harsh words, but i think you suck. It seems you think Austria and Switzerland are the same as Germany, therfore you lock adn cut it also to these countrys ???????
I want a simple answer to all this nonsens.
Why is it locked to Austrian and Swiss People ? We don't have anything to do with the USK.
