There are games far superior to Halo, I think you have been deprived of great modern PC shooters like Far Cry, or HL2. FPS has gotten itself some bad rep over time as a typical cookie cutter genre, this generalization is unfortunanly true for the most part but there are those few games that stand out from the crowd.
Emergence is great, its simple in a way with a 90's retro feel to it, at least it appeared that way to me. The quality of PC games looks like its starting its rebound over the console market again, so a new PC wouldn't be such a bad idea |

Which shotgun? There are three different types. The standard pump action, the riot, and the striker. Out of all of them the pump action is my favorite. More power and at max its a condenced spread making it more acturate at longer ranges. Sad that shotgun shells are really hard to come by if you start using it. Make sure Bianca lets you play it all the way through too. I'm sure she'd be tempted to take it at times. Shouldn't take that long to beat and the learning curve is pretty nill for the most part. Enemies can be a pain sometime. I'm going to throw a link in to my enemy strategy guide just incase. Enemy Strategy Guide |

Doom/Doom II Half-Life Quake/Quake 2/Quake 3 Arena Unreal Tournament 99/2004 System Shock 2 Chaser F.E.A.R. Deus Ex Duke Nukem 3D (I knew any list of FPS games wouldn't be complete without this gem of a game) ...and many more but I can't think of all of them right offhand at the moment, but it should be helpful. |

Yes!
I have Far Cry instincts and Evolution on PS2... I think that now that I'm ready for FPS, I'll try them. I know the graphics are pretty nice. I'm sure the game is fun too. |

On a side note, How did you find the Nintendo Wii's controls for Zelda...the line up was far to long for me to bother even trying. On yet another side note, how much are you looking at spending on a new PC, if you are going to get one that is... I wouldn't be surprised if Vigor Gaming Computers would give you some sort of discount for your help at E3 this year. And if not, I'm pretty sure anyone and everyone here would gladly help you set up one. I know I would. Heck, I'd even walk you through the construction of one so you would know how to build one in the future ( this is assuming you havn't built one your self already... probibly not smart considering how tech savy you are... ) anywho, theres my 2 cents... |

I've played the first Zelda, back in the days and then I have tried Link...
Then, my parents didn't want to buy me the new console... So 2 years ago, my boyfriend both me a gamecube with Zelda (he knew that it was one of my favorite games), with Windwaker. I, then, buy a complitation with the old Zeldas and with Ocarina and Majora's mask. I finished Ocarina 2 months ago Great game. I'll try Majora's later. I'm waiting for Twilight Princess... In fact. I CAN'T wait! We were really busy at E3, but as I eaplin in my blogue, I didn't want to live without seeing this game. So at our longest break, Bian, Martin and I went to Nintendo's booth to see it! The line up was about 3 hours... But with our special outfit... We passed! lol The game look really nice and I saw a guy overthere that was using the special wii's remote. You don't really look really intelligent when you use it, but still, it looks fun! I'll wait before buying any new console, so I 'll buy de Gamecube version. For my computer... Good idea about that Vigor discount... Hum I'll work on it lol. I'll not buy a new computer before the enf of the summer tough... |

Striker I found slightly ineffective, unless of course you upgrade it to have 100 rounds then its guns and glory. About my 5th time threw I just started using up the money I'd saved from the previous four games (and trust me it was more than enough to buy every gun and upgrade 3 times over), and experimented with the weapons and their efficency. Butterfly is still my overall favorite. Powerful and the reload just looks plane cool. That and if you get the butterfly from the castle rather than buying it, it becomes the most powerful gun in the game that isn't required to be unlocked. Magnum rounds were scares though, so I had to use it, save up, use it, save up. Oh, and beat up your boyfriend any time he tries to fight for the console. You'll win. Edit: The new Zelda is supposed to be released with both GameCube and Revolutions from what I've been told. Of course Revolutions will have a much higher digital quality, supposidly. But the Gamecube Version is up to four discs. The discs will be representative of each age; childhood, teen, young adult, adult. That's what my friend says and he's pretty decent about keeping up with this kinda stuff. Each disc is also pretty well a game in itself, but you have to swap discs kinda like Link changing ages in OoT. |

yes the butterfly is cool
I'm not sure it's the striker. I'll have to check. Most of my weapons have the maximum ugrades I think... By the way, it's true that the giants give hard time the firts time! The ennemis with chainsaw are not tough, but the sound ... It scares me! |

The striker is a small one by comparison to the other two. It only takes up a 2 by 6 space if I remember right. Might be 2 by 4. |

I did not recognise that much of a difference in your accent, though someone from France probably would!
I don't suppose your newscast budget is sufficient for an English version... |

Interesting what you say about Zelda... I wonder when they will offer that game for sell...
About RE4... My problem with the giants was that I guy told me to shoot the "thing" that goes out his back instead of using my knife... Not really efficiant... I lost all my ammos this way. |

Shooting that thing that comes out of the back is a horrible idea. Using the knife three times on it will drag it down a lot faster than it will with the guns. Unless of course you have the infinite rocket launcher or handcannon, then its just a one shot kill. (Two on the first one given the fact that they make it a cutscene) |

Yeah, I've got to play again sometime too. I think I'm beyond rusty, more like totally rusted.
