Default Issue with resolution in SiN Steam

I have a really bizarre question...

Can someone give me a screen cap (screenshot) of the video options menu for the Steam version of SiN? I was trying to see how high my resolution would go, and now the screen is horribly offset (up and to the left, so I only see the bottom corner). I tried a few times to go back to default settings, but I can't seem to manage since I can't see what I'm doing on the screen!

I tried deleting the resident files, but that did nothing... I think I know understand why... Steam stores all the necessary data, right? Or sends it to your hard disk or something...

Anyways, hopefully that wasn't too annoying.

Thanks in advance!

(I hope someone can help me fix this... stupid me.)

Have you tried deleting your config file? Depending on whether you're trying to start SiN 1 or SiN 1 Multiplayer, it's either

\Steam\SteamApps\yourSteamName\sin 1\base\players\yourSinLoginName\config.cfg

or

\Steam\SteamApps\yourSteamName\sin 1 multiplayer\base\players\yourSinLoginName\config.c fg

Deleting it will cause SiN to reset everything to the default settings next time you start the game.

Thanks for the advice! I'll try it soon.

(I was wondering how Steam dealt with issues like messing up your config or something...)

Edit: It worked! Thank you very much!
