Default Widescreen resolution possible?

Holy crap my login still works from 5 years ago!

I was wondering if anyone knows how to get SiN / Wages of Sin working in 1680x1050, including being able to get a green tint with my zommed sniper?

I love you all, see you guys soon in the SiN Episodes forum!!!

Well....and I am wondering if anybody knows why every time I start Sin, my WindowsXP crashes (restarts)....
I tried to set the video mode to window from .cfg files. That works, but only for a short period, because after 2-3 seconds, the window is making full screen again, and Windows restarts again . Any ideas?
Thanks.

Yay me! I was able to hex the sin.exe to change the 1280x960 into 1680x1050. I'm probably not allowed to share the file but I'll make a patch if anyone is intersted.

To fellow dorks, the mode info is in sin.exe kept circa offset 0x94450.

Hey I got it working! I was looking at the wrong lines to edit initially. This guide was pretty helpful in locating the right values:

Be sure to change the fov afterwards.
