Capture & Hold v0.1 ******************* Installing ********** Unzip the C&H file to a sin\C&h dir, then copy pak0.sin from your CTF dir to the new c&h dir (running the batch file will do it for you) Rules ***** Each team must try to capture & hold as many control points as possible. Every five seconds each team will get one point for each 'control point' they hold. On map start each control point is white, once you touch that control point it changes to your team colour, your team will get a point for every five seconds it stays in their control. If an enemy touches the control point, it will change to their colour and they will start to get points. The sniper rifle is back to the way it is DM (i.e. damage is back down to 100, instead of 10000) Tech's are out, for now. They don't feel right in C&H. CaptureLimit is used to set a 'point' limit, this should be set pretty high cos teams get 1 point for every 5 seconds for each control point they have. HUD Changes *********** Down the left side of the screen you will see an icon for each control point, the icon lets you know which team has control of that point. The text under the icon is the name of control point. They can be up to five control points on a map The name of the control point is up to the mapper, if C&H is running on a CTF map the red and blue flags will become control points, and will have names of "Red Flag" and "Blue Flag" respectively. NOTE: I can't get variable text to display on the HUD, so for now the Control Points will have the name "Point 1" to "Point 5", use the command "ListControlPoints" to show the names the mapper has provided for the flags. The point names will still show up in all messages. DM Maps ******* I've added control points to most of the SiN DM maps (all except Spool and Paradox), so they will work fine in a map cycle. They are a lot smaller than most CTF maps, so they might not play as good.
